Sharability It Is...

...but it's not just about putting those cute little buttons on top of every page. I make sure that every piece of content is worth sharing - that's what I call 'sharability'.

Being into social networks since the beginning of Blogspot and Friendster in 2002 gave me a sound learning experience about the ways and means, the dos and donts in socializing, involving and correctly engaging with people online.

Through my online visibility, I’m able not just to attend, but also volunteer in several organizing groups for social media events such as Twestival Dubai and Mashable Social Media Day. I was also recently tapped as person-in-charge for the World Bloggers Day Celebration 2011; was invited to talk briefly during Geekfest about the blogging scene in Dubai – and how one could grow as an influential blogger.

I’m religious to various product launches / bloggers meet-up. Brands oftentimes ask to review latest gadgets, popular places and/or experiences. I'm also being appointed as products ambassador. My recent Ambassadorship is with Samsung for the Galaxy Tab (Expert Panel for Smart TV) and with Ping Pong Dim Sum Restaurant in Dubai Mall.

In my current work, I am designing Facebook Applications and Pages mostly for hospitality and airlines.  I carefully study how people interact with brands and get attached to it.  Also, in every website I create, there's always social media plug-ins integrated to enable easy content sharing to major social networks  such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social bookmarking sites as StumbleUpon, Digg, Delicious and more. But it's not just about putting those cute little buttons on top of every page. I make sure that every piece of content is worth sharing - that's what I call 'sharability'. I am equipped with technical and scientific ideas on how to make a social media campaign powerful (and knows why it won’t work as well).

My User Experience Design skills (and my failures along the way) also enable me to learn about various online users’ behavior and provide better ideas and more usable media.

These, plus my other personal social activities enable me to grow a surprising passion about social media.
